We are on a MISSION

Global Patch is a 501c3 that provides advocacy and sustainable resources to increase equity and accessibility to careers in video games, esports, digital arts, engineering, and STEAM related careers for under-represented, marginalized, and rural communities.

Global Patch’s vision is to create a world where everyone, everywhere can work in the video game, esports, interactive media, technology, engineering, and related STEAM industries without being hindered by a lack of access to resources. lack of career opportunities, geographical discrimination, career gate-keeping, inequitable treatment, and hostile working conditions.

2017 - 2018

Our Founder represented Florida State University at the capital advocating for educational technology and tech based teacher resources for rural communities. This is the space where the idea of using gaming as a teaching modality was nurtured.

2020 - 2019

Throughout the summer, we taught basic robotics,engineering, coding, and animation to youth in Nassau, Bahamas. It was such ahit that we had been invited to do the work in other spaces throughout the islands in partnership with Lend A Hand Bahamas.

April 2023

Global Patch was official founded in Jacksonville, Florida.

June 2023

Global Patch established community partnerships with Gameheads, Unreal Engine, Exist Gaming, and Women at EA Games to provide educational and career resources virtually and in-person.
